Description
Vinification: Vintage in a box of 22 kgs. Destemming and crushing; use of selected yeasts; alcoholic fermentation with temperature control (22-24ºC), gentle remounting, post-fermentative maceration of four weeks. Stage in new and used French oak barrels for 12 months, later stage in a bottle at sea for 81 days.
Deep red color with blue tones. Aroma intense, powerful and balsamic, dominated by bergamot oil, notes of forest fruits – such as blueberry and blackberry – and very well integrated wood and top quality Mouth: Elegant, with a lot of fresh volumes and very well balanced.
Serve with: traditional Portuguese cuisine, intense cheeses. Consume at 12-18ºC.
